Reviewing The Title Sequence
Today me and my group decided to review the storyboard with all the new info I gained from last week. Me and my group decided to do some major changes if our title sequence is going to be any good. One of the biggest changes that was made was to not include a brother in the film. The reason for this was because having a brother would not really make any sense. Adding an extra character at the end would just end up being confusing. Introducing a character at the end would also add to much mystery to the story which is not good for a opening sequence. The reason for this is because it would leave the audience wondering too much which is not good. Another reason I did this was because I wanted to leave the viewer with the though of who was at the door. This ominous feeling is to be carried throughout the film but it is like the brother showing up. The reason for this is because the knock will not be answered right away but will be answered later in the film. This would lead to fewer questions compared to the brother since the brother came out of no where and was not expected. Another change me and my group were planning of making was to get a better setting. The reason why I wanted another place was so it was easier for everyone to go there. A major reason why it has been hard to film has been because of the place that was chosen. Some of the members of my group think it is too far and can not go. A reason for another setting would be for a better establishing shot. The establishing shot is one of if not the most important shots in this whole project and I need a good setting for it. I need a spot that is open and easy to get a good shot all while having things around that make it look ran down. The setting also has to be close enough for everyone since the distances is what is keeping everyone from being able to make it. As of now I am still looking for the place but with all of these changes my final task is going to look even better.
