MY MUSIC VIDEO  This was my second project I had to do for my class. I think that I did a good job on this project. Compared to my last project I think that I improved a lot more. One example of this improvement was that I was utilizing a lot more transitions for example a fade to black and a jump cut. I also learned how to do more shots and how to improve the shots I used before. A shot that I improved was the pane shot and high angles and low angles. I am exited to see how much more I can improve this year and gain some new skills and polish the ones I already have. 

Today was the final day to finish our editing process. I did not make much progress last time with my group. I git lucky that today was Friday so it was easier to meet up with everyone and discuss things about the editing process. The first step to finishing the editing process was to come up with ideas. I was the first person to come up with an idea which was to put the title of the song in one of the shots. My group liked the idea and went along with it. The first step was to find what shot to put the title in. After going through the film me and my group found the perfect shot to put the name of the song in. The shot was all four of the members walking down the road then the camera looking to the sky which was why the title of the song would fit perfectly. After thinking a while longer I came up with another idea which was to add glow and neon scribbles into the video. This was the first time my group had heard about these thing so we decided to look it up. After looking them up the

 After all the filming in the past 2 days it was finally time to do some editing. I was not the one editing for my group. Although I was not the one editing does not mean I can not contribute. The first thing I needed to do was think of a good idea. After thinking for a little bit I finally came up with a decent idea. The Idea I came up with was to add effects into the music video. This however was going to be a challenge. The reason it was going to be a challenge was because it was my group members first time doing it. My group member was trying to learn how to do it for a few minutes but it was too hard. After a while we decided to starch that idea and find another thing to add. So it was basically back to square one of finding new ideas. The next idea that I thought of was to add stylish text. My group thought it was a good idea and decided to go with it. Again like last time we started to research how to do it. My group member eventually found out how to do it and added it into the

 This is the second day of filming and hopefully our last day of filming. My group had some issues on previous days but they got resolved. Today Me and my group had to do better than yesterday to finish this music video. The location was at one of our group members house. We got there after school so around 5:00. I had to wait for my other group members to arrive since some people had to do things before. When the whole group arrived I started to film. The first few shots that I took were on the street. The shots were mostly cinematic shots to start off the music video. Some other type of shots I took was transition shots to really start off the music video. These initial shots did not really take long since they were pretty simple shots and not much could go wrong. For the second part of the filming my group and I went to a park that was nearby. Me and my group's first filming day was today. Although that was never the intention the schedules of me and my group did not match up for that week specifically. The same thing happened the week prior. During my Thanksgiving break one of my group members was out of town so I was able to film. After the week past and my group member came back I still wasn't able to film. This was because everyone was busy not just my group members. I had to go to work and church and some of my group had to attend a family gathering. This made everything a lot more difficult. I had everyone see what day our group could film. My group decided on Monday which was yesterday after school. As school was coming to an end it stared to rain really hard which made us postpone our filming to today. My group all agreed to film today after school. The place I was supposed to meet up with them was at my house. The reason I decided that was because there is park near my house.
