Meeting The Group

 For the Music video project I have picked a different group than last time. I switched from having 4 people in the group to 3 people. The reason for this change is because having 4 people last time made it more difficult to be organized. Lowering the amount of people in the group will also make it easier to meetup which is essential. I am in a group with my fellow classmate Monzur and my friend fahim. Although I have know Monzur for a few years now I have only known Fahim for 1 year. Although me and Monzur have not always been super close. Over the span of COVID and online school we would play together and talk. Another reason we got closer was because we had many thing in common. I know Monzur is smart and he has a great work ethic so I though he was a super reliable person to do this Music Video. Fahim on the other hand I met him through Monzur during Covid. During Covid when we were doing online school there was a game trending and we happened to need one more player to play which is when I met Fahim. Me and Fahim have some interests the main one being video games. Although I do not know how good Fahims work ethic is he is smart so he can hopefully help a ton on this Music Video. I hope I can work well with both partners on this project and hopefully the future. I have yet chosen a topic or genre for the music video but I will work on that in the next class. The genre I leaning towards is billboard songs since those tend to be the best. Even though my group has not had an idea I am looking forward to this project. I hope I can see how great Fahim's work ethic is good and to see if we can work good together. I plan to convince my group to pick the song I want for this music video.

  Planning: Props: Since our group decided to use the Airpods Pro the props that we will be using will be an iPhone and the Airpods Pro themselves. Costumes: In our commercial, we have one main character, and 2 side subjects. Our actors will wear normal/trendy clothes, they would wear items that they would wear everyday to simulate like it was just a normal day for them. The main actor will have an iPhone in hand, and an AirPod in each ear so to show them off to the viewer.  Schedule:   On 9/22/21 our group researched conventions and the background of AirPods Pro commercials. Sound Track Choices

 Before I got to filming with my group we decided to find what sound to use. I along with my group decided to reach out to people to get permission to use their sound track. The way I decided to do this was by doing research with movies of my genre. The genre for my movie is thriller and I need sound tracks match the genre of the movie. The first movie opening scene I watched was Slender Man. While it was a great sound track for a thriller I do not think it matched what I was aiming for. After going through more and more opening scenes searching for a good soundtrack but, coming short I decided to take a diffrerent approach. I went into Spotify looked there for a good thriller soundtrack and after a bit I stumbled across a great soundtrack. The sound track that I found was Dominic Frontiere's Color of Night soundtrack.  For my final task I decided to get in a group of 3 me and 2 others. This is a change from my past 2 project where I had 3 others making it 4 in total. At first I was going to work in a 4 person group. The same group as last time which involved Keith, Monzur, and Fahim. Fahim ended up switching schools after the music video project. Instead of trying to get a 4th person we decided to stay with 3. The reason being it was much easier to coordinate and it was too much of a hassle to find a 4th member. The reason I chose Monzur is because I have already worked with him in the past. I see him everyday at school so its easy to plan out things. I have known Monzur for a long while now and were pretty close although it has not always been like this. The first time I talked to Monzur was in middle school and we hit it off.
