Intro Blog

   Hello name is Juan Baca I am 16 years old in 11th grade at Fort Lauderdale High School. I am a part of a family of 5 I have 1 sister and 1 brother. My brother is 16 and is my twin my sister is 6 and go to Bayview elementary.  I am from Mexico and moved to Florida when I was 5. I am in the Cambridge Program while attending the school. I look forward towards this class even though I took it since I need the credit. I also look forward to this school year especially after last year doing only doing online school. I hope to do better in school grade wise this year as well because last year I did not do so well. I want to play for my schools soccer team and tryouts are tomorrow. I used to play on a travel soccer team until the pandemic hit us so I had to stop but plan on starting up again soon. I started to play soccer when I was 5 and kept playing until now. When I am not in school I do my homework because I get tons of homework. On the weekends I go to work with my dad on the weekends and the days we have off of school. I work with him at Toyota of Hollywood from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm sometimes even later. in the weekdays I also go to work with my mom but it is only Wednesday. When I have free time I play video games with my friends. I recently bought a new computer which is what I play on and the game I play is Valorant. I also go to church my family is very religious we go to church 4 days a week. The days I go to church are Tuesdays, Thursday, Saturday,and Sunday.

  Planning: Props: Since our group decided to use the Airpods Pro the props that we will be using will be an iPhone and the Airpods Pro themselves. Costumes: In our commercial, we have one main character, and 2 side subjects. Our actors will wear normal/trendy clothes, they would wear items that they would wear everyday to simulate like it was just a normal day for them. The main actor will have an iPhone in hand, and an AirPod in each ear so to show them off to the viewer.  Schedule:   On 9/22/21 our group researched conventions and the background of AirPods Pro commercials. We also decided on our location list, props, costumes, backup plan, and made sure we were sticking to our schedule. Sound Track Choices

 Before I got to filming with my group we decided to find what sound to use. I along with my group decided to reach out to people to get permission to use their sound track. The way I decided to do this was by doing research with movies of my genre. The genre for my movie is thriller and I need sound tracks match the genre of the movie. The first movie opening scene I watched was Slender Man. While it was a great sound track for a thriller I do not think it matched what I was aiming for. After going through more and more opening scenes searching for a good soundtrack but, coming short I decided to take a diffrerent approach. I went into Spotify looked there for a good thriller soundtrack and after a bit I stumbled across a great soundtrack. The sound track that I found was Dominic Frontiere's Color of Night soundtrack. Group Blog

 For my final task I decided to get in a group of 3 me and 2 others. This is a change from my past 2 project where I had 3 others making it 4 in total. At first I was going to work in a 4 person group. The same group as last time which involved Keith, Monzur, and Fahim. Fahim ended up switching schools after the music video project. Instead of trying to get a 4th person we decided to stay with 3. The reason being it was much easier to coordinate and it was too much of a hassle to find a 4th member. The reason I chose Monzur is because I have already worked with him in the past. I see him everyday at school so its easy to plan out things. I have known Monzur for a long while now and were pretty close although it has not always been like this. The first time I talked to Monzur was in middle school and we hit it off.
