Group Blog

This blog I will talk all about my Group. My group consist of 3 other members and with me it makes up 4. The 3 other members are Monzur M,  Arron S and, Ariel P. The only person that I am pretty close with is Monzur and I have known Arron for a while although I'm not very close him. I have just recently met Ariel through this class since she sat in front of me. I chose to work with Monzur since I already know him and we are pretty close. I have know Monzur since middle school and we had many common interests so we been friends for a while. Although me and Monzur have not always been super close. Over the span of COVID and online school we would play together and talk. I know Monzur is smart and he has a great work ethic so I though he was a super reliable person to do this commercial. I have know Arron since middle school but we were never close. When I saw him in this class and he sat near me I thought we could work on this commercial. Another reason I chose Arron is because I know he works hard and I think that is a great trait to have. We picked Ariel since she seemed responsible and looked like she had good work ethic. Although I do not know Ariel for much I hope we can get along through out the year. We have not yet came up with a definite idea for the commercial we have some. I am looking forward to this commercial especially the filming part of it. I also really look forward to the storyboard since watching the Toy Story story board. We are all smart people an I think this project will go great. I look forward to this class espically with such reliable clas

  Planning: Props: Since our group decided to use the Airpods Pro the props that we will be using will be an iPhone and the Airpods Pro themselves. Costumes: In our commercial, we have one main character, and 2 side subjects. Our actors will wear normal/trendy clothes, they would wear items that they would wear everyday to simulate like it was just a normal day for them. The main actor will have an iPhone in hand, and an AirPod in each ear so to show them off to the viewer.  Schedule:   On 9/22/21 our group researched conventions and the background of AirPods Pro commercials. We also decided on our location list, props, costumes, backup plan, and made sure we were sticking to our schedule. Sound Track Choices

 Before I got to filming with my group we decided to find what sound to use. I along with my group decided to reach out to people to get permission to use their sound track. The way I decided to do this was by doing research with movies of my genre. The genre for my movie is thriller and I need sound tracks match the genre of the movie. The first movie opening scene I watched was Slender Man. While it was a great sound track for a thriller I do not think it matched what I was aiming for. After going through more and more opening scenes searching for a good soundtrack but, coming short I decided to take a diffrerent approach. I went into Spotify looked there for a good thriller soundtrack and after a bit I stumbled across a great soundtrack. The sound track that I found was Dominic Frontiere's Color of Night soundtrack.  For my final task I decided to get in a group of 3 me and 2 others. This is a change from my past 2 project where I had 3 others making it 4 in total. At first I was going to work in a 4 person group. The same group as last time which involved Keith, Monzur, and Fahim. Fahim ended up switching schools after the music video project. Instead of trying to get a 4th person we decided to stay with 3. The reason being it was much easier to coordinate and it was too much of a hassle to find a 4th member. The reason I chose Monzur is because I have already worked with him in the past. I see him everyday at school so its easy to plan out things. I have known Monzur for a long while now and were pretty close although it has not always been like this. The first time I talked to Monzur was in middle school and we hit it off.
